About Rich's Paving

Family Owned & Operated for 3 Generations

Our Story

Paving Sonoma County Since 1988

Rich's Paving is a family paving company based in Petaluma, California. Richard Stanley learned the trade the way his father learned it from his grandfather, and today his own son works beside him on the crew. Three generations in, the family name still rides on every job.

The work is everything pavement needs in the North Bay: asphalt driveways and parking lots, sealcoating, repair and patching, concrete driveways and patios, grading, drainage, gravel drives and retaining walls. We run our own paver, rollers and dump trucks, the same equipment you will see in the photos on this site, on real jobs for real customers.

The person who looks at your property and quotes the job is family, and so is the crew that shows up to do it. Call (707) 217-0835 and tell us what the pavement is doing.

What We Believe

Three Rules We Don't Break

Look Before We Quote

Every estimate comes from seeing the actual job. Paving prices live in details a phone call cannot see: the ground under the old surface, the drainage, the access. So we look first, and the number holds.

Recommend What Fits

We lay asphalt and pour concrete, so the recommendation follows your property, not the material we happen to sell. If a repair will do the job, we say so before anyone talks about a replacement.

Finish It Right

Clean edges, tight compaction, water running where it should. We walk the finished surface with you before we call it done, and done means you say it is done.

Why Choose Rich's Paving

Why North Bay Property Owners Call Us

Three Generations of Paving

Richard is a third-generation paving contractor, and his son works beside him on the crew. The family name is on the work, and the family answers the phone.

Asphalt and Concrete

Most companies do one or the other. We install both, so you get a recommendation based on your property, not on the only material a contractor happens to sell.

Our Own Equipment and Crew

Paver, rollers, dump trucks and compaction equipment, run by our own crew. The schedule and the quality stay in our hands from grading to the last pass.

Built for Sonoma County Ground

Clay soils that swell in the winter rain and shrink all summer. We have paved on this ground since 1988, and we build the base for what it does.

What You Can Expect

How a Job With Rich's Paving Runs

From the first site visit to the final pass of the roller, here is how it goes.

1

Look at the Job

We come see the site: the old surface, the ground under it, how water moves, and what the job really takes. No blind quotes over the phone.

2

Clear Estimate

You get a written estimate with a real number and a real timeline. It covers what is included, from grading and base rock to the finished surface, and it holds unless the scope changes.

3

Do the Work

Our own crew and equipment show up when we said and build the job the way we quoted it. Base first, then the surface, compacted and finished right.

4

Walk It With You

Before we call a job done, we walk it with you. Clean edges, solid compaction, water running where it should. Done means you say it is done.
